January 14, 2010: Webb Pump welcomes Tony Abilheira to the team!
Webb Pump is pleased to announce that Tony Abilheira has joined our Inside Sales and Applications group! Tony comes to us with more than 10 years of experience in the pump industry and also has extensive knowledge of systems and controls. He prides himself on his system-based sales approach by being able to select not only the proper pump for an application but also the ancillary equipment around the pump, such as the valving, piping, flexible couplers, and filters. Tony also holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Tufts University which gives him unique insight into the controls and Variable Frequency Drives that are becoming increasingly prevalent in our industry.
Tony resides in Saunderstown RI with his wife Florence, his two children Joseph and Isabella, and his Rhodesian Ridgeback Nala. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with the family, playing guitar, and making homemade wine with his father-in-law. (We're all eager to sample his fine home brew!)
Please join us in welcoming him to the Webb Pump and F.W. Webb team!
October 1, 2009: Webb Pump and Webb BioPharm are extremely pleased to announce our new partnership with the Dover Pump Solutions Group (PSG). Formed in 2007, the Dover PSG family of companies consists of six complementary industry-leading lines including the following:
Wilden is a global leader in the design and manufacture of Air Operated Double Diaphragm pumps. The Wilden name is synonymous with quality and is a well-respected brand that you can trust.
Blackmer offers a full line of sliding vane style positive displacement pumps that are the optimal choice for difficult pumping applications such as products with higher vapor pressures, self priming applications, and liquids with entrained air. Sliding vane pumps are also used extensively for pumping fuel oil and other petroleum products.
Mouvex manufactures a unique eccentric disc positive displacement style pump that is volumetrically efficient, extremely gentle on the product (low shear) easily cleaned, and capable of self-priming. They are also seal-less in design making them extremely maintenance-friendly.
Well known for diaphragm chemical metering pumps, Neptune also manufactures complete packaged chemical feed systems that include storage tanks, agitation, and pump control.
Almatec is a world leader in diaphragm pumping technology and is on the cutting edge of cleanliness requirements in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. They offer the world's first EHEDG approved diaphragm pump that is CIP-able, meaning that it can effectively be Cleaned-In-Place. In addition, with their unique check-ball system, the pump is fully drainable after cleaning and will not hold up critical product after a process run.
Dating back over 70 years, Griswold Pump offers a complete line of ANSI standard pumps, end-suction centrifugal pumps, and vertical/submersible turbine pumps. With several hundred thousand pumps installations worldwide, Griswold services a wide range of chemical, industrial, and municipal applications.
With the addition of the full PSG family, more now than ever our company is well-positioned to offer problem solving solutions for virtually any type of application. We will be stocking components and complete pumps for the full PSG lineup in our Cranston facility and look forward to supporting your requirements.
