Gear Pumps

Rotary Gear Pumps are extremely versatile positive displacement pumps that are able to pump liquids that many other pumps simply cannot. Often selected due to fluid viscosity, gear pumps can generally handle viscosities in excess of 250,000 SSU and are used regularly to pump adhesives, asphalts, greases, oils, fats, and fuels such as number-6 fuel oil. They are also a good choice for thermosensitive fluids such as resins and tars, and can also be used in food products such as chocolate and vegetable oil.
