Pump Types

Meeting the huge range of applications that we encounter on a daily basis is a challenge. As a supplier, it's critical to have a portfolio of products to effectively satisfy those applications.

Vertical Turbines

Similar to multistage centrifugal pumps, vertical turbines are typically used where a higher discharge pressures are required. Available in two types, lineshaft and submersible, the bowl and impeller assembly (stage) is submerged under the liquid level allowing starting without priming. Much like a multi-stage centrifugal pump, multiple bowl stages can be integrated into one pump to boost discharge pressure and increase the pump's flexibility.

Commonly used on raw water intakes, pumping stations, industrial cooling water applications, irrigation, flood control, fire suppression systems, and mining applications, these versatile pumps are available with a variety of packing and lubrication options depending on the clarity of the fluid being pumped. In addition, shaft lengths can be user-specified to allow the pump to be custom-fit to your application.

With bowl assemblies from 4" in diameter to 57" in diameter, Webb Pump can provide pumps to handle up to 50,000GPM, and heads to 2000'. We stand ready to assist you with your VTP application!
