Pump Types

Meeting the huge range of applications that we encounter on a daily basis is a challenge. As a supplier, it's critical to have a portfolio of products to effectively satisfy those applications.

Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps

Designed to pump a huge range of fluids in both simple and challenging applications, Air-Operated diaphragm pumps fall into two categories: Single Diaphragm and Double Diaphragm. Both can be used to pump not only clean fluids but also those that are viscous, abrasive, potentially hazardous, or with entrained solids. Diaphragm pumps are self-priming and can produce suction lifts up to 28 feet depending on design, and they can run dry without damage.

Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps are the more common design and utilize a two diaphragm design to maximize flow and reduce pulsation. They use air as the motive force which means that they can be used in explosion-proof environments and can even pump while mounted underwater!

Single diaphragm pumps can be used to pump extremely dirty fluids or large entrained solids. Commonly known as "mud suckers", they can be air operated, electrically driven, or engine driven for operation at remote jobsites.
